In celebration of his birthday, Ed Sheeran is delighted to share “How Would You Feel (Paean)”– a brand new track taken from his highly anticipated new album ÷ (divide), which will be released on March 3rd. You can watch the accompanying live performance video on the link above.
Written and produced by Ed himself, “How Would You Feel (Paean)” is a beautifully orchestrated ballad, showcasing Ed’s profound songwriting and impeccable guitar playing. Continuing his history-making venture, Ed landed his 5th consecutive week at #1 & #2 in the UK’s single chart with “Shape Of You” and “Castle On The Hill” last week, setting a new chart record for the longest time an artist has held the top two positions, overtaking Justin Bieber’s record. In little over a month, the singles have received over 1 BILLION combined streams and “Shape Of You” continues to break its own weekly streaming record on Spotify having recently peaked at 53 million weekly streams!
Following his triumphant Saturday Night Live and Grammy performances, Ed will take to the stage of London’s O2 at next week’s BRIT Awards and he’ll also complete the line-up for this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust fundraising week of live gigs with a performance at the Royal Albert Hall on March 28th. Ed’s sold out UK & Ireland headline tour, which kicks-off in April, will include three dates at The O2 on May 1st/2nd/3rd.
